Amazon Prime launches in Mexico: Robbie Whelan at MarketWatch reports that this week Amazon launched its Prime offering in Mexico, where at least six companies are competing for market share. Amazon wants to start shipping packages to the moon: Emma Boyle at Tech Radar reports that Jeff Bezos has said he wants to begin delivering packages to the moon in anticipation of the establishment of human settlements there. Adidas’ ecommerce business increases by 59% leading it to double 2020 target to €4bn: Tony Connelly at The Drum reports that Adidas’ ecommerce business grew by almost 60% in 2016, with record sales of €19.3bn. Chief executive, Kasper Rorsted, revealed the strong digital performance helped the company achieve an overall sales growth of 18% and resulted in what he summed up as an “exceptional year” for Adidas.
